SSDS is an Aerial Arts Certified Studio. As one of the most beautiful and exciting forms of art these classes are going to be in high demand.
We use several Aerial Apparatus in this class.

Strength is imperative in this class. The student will have to be able to bear their own weight and some of it can cause bruising but none of our Aerialist seem to mind. Wearing leggings and long sleeves help to protect the skin. Your little Aerialist will become quite strong and confident!
We try and get pictures and video a few times a month so you can see your dancer’s progress.
Aerial silks is a type of performance art that involves the use of two long pieces of fabric hung from a height. Performers climb, wrap, and descend the silks in various poses, combining dance and acrobatics. It requires strength and flexibility and often featured in circus performances, theater, and fitness classes, offering both artistic expression and a challenging workout.
